Delve into the roots of Buddhism: Online courses 2026

Immersing ourselves in the roots of Buddhism completely transforms the way we understand and live its teachings. Whether you're looking to strengthen your personal practice, access the wisdom of classical texts in their original language, or understand the symbolism of their sacred art, taking the step toward formal study marks a before and after in your journey.

This 2026, the Dharma-Gaia Foundation, wants to help you take that leap in quality. In partnership with the Autonomous University of Barcelona And the Rovira Virgili University, we have prepared four rigorous and subsidized online academic courses designed to be compatible with your daily life. All sessions are recorded and available during the course, so you can review them at your own pace.

Behind each statue of the Buddha there are hands that indicate paths of meditation, looks that recall compassion and mandalas that map the mind. This course offers a journey through early Buddhism, Mahāyāna and Vajrayāna to learn to “read” images, symbols and sacred spaces. More than seeing works, we will understand what they teach us about the spiritual path.

· Teachers: Teaching staff specializing in Buddhist art with extensive research experience.
· Ideal for: Interested in art history, Buddhism or comparative spirituality (no previous knowledge required).
· Teaching load: 25 hours (Start: September 2026).
